How to Set up my Passcode (Authenticator) App?

Follow the steps below to secure your CYGNVS account using a passcode (authenticator) app.

1. Install a Passcode (Authenticator) App

Download an authenticator app from your device’s app store:

• iOS: Apple App Store

• Android: Google Play Store

Supported apps include Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, and Authy.

2. Add a New Account

Open the authenticator app on your device:

• Tap the “+” icon to add a new account

• Select Other account (or equivalent option)

3. Scan the QR Code

• On your computer, log in to CYGNVS and begin registration

• When prompted, continue to the QR code screen

• Use your authenticator app to scan the QR code

4. Enter the Passcode

• Your authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code

• Enter the code in CYGNVS and click Verify

Once verified, your CYGNVS account is protected with Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) authentication.
